BANGI, 1 August – The Sultan Abdul Samad Library Club (PSAS) organised the 2026 PSAS Club Tenpin Bowling Championship at Ampang Superbowl, Bangi Gateway. The championship was held in a lively atmosphere and aimed to strengthen camaraderie, foster teamwork and promote a harmonious work culture among PSAS staff through healthy recreational activity.

The opening ceremony was officiated by the Chief Librarian, Ms Haslina Abu Seman@Talib, who also rolled the ceremonial first ball to mark the official opening of the championship.

A total of nine (9) teams competed in the team category, demonstrating excellent sportsmanship and teamwork. Tak Dapat BDR emerged as the champion, followed by Pin Hunters as the runner-up. Victory Line secured third place, while Supa Doba and Underdog finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

In the individual categories, Mr Muhamad Hafizan Tajuddin was named the Men’s Highest Pinfall Winner, while Ms Norafizah Radzuan received the Women’s Highest Pinfall Winner award following their outstanding performances throughout the championship.

Ms Rafidah Razali was also recognised as the Most Sporting Participant for the sportsmanship, positive attitude and cooperation she demonstrated throughout the championship.

The championship not only provided a platform for promoting a healthy lifestyle but also successfully strengthened the sense of belonging, camaraderie and teamwork among PSAS staff. It is hoped that similar programmes will continue to be organised as annual events to support the well-being of library staff
