PSAS Highlights UPM’s Library Excellence at CONSAL XIX Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, 19 June 2025 – The Sultan Abdul Samad Library (PSAS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), made a meaningful mark at the 19th Congress of Southeast Asian Librarians (CONSAL XIX), held from 16 to 19 June 2025 at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur.
Representing UPM with enthusiasm and expertise, PSAS contributed four poster presentations and two conference papers, showcasing innovative library services and ideas that support academic excellence and regional collaboration.

A notable highlight was the recognition received for the poster titled “Supporting Agricultural Networks and Communities through Agri@UPM”, developed by librarians from the Malaysian Agricultural Resources Division. The poster, which emphasises PSAS’s efforts in building sustainable agricultural community networks through the Agri@UPM platform, won a consolation prize in the Boulevard Poster Competition. This initiative reflects PSAS’s role in supporting food security and smart farming efforts in line with national priorities.
