Serdang, 26 February – Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has organized the ASEAN University Cashflow Challenge 2026 to strengthen financial literacy and foster entrepreneurial thinking among university students across the ASEAN region.
This program was organized by the Centre of Entrepreneurial Development and Graduate Marketability (CEM) in collaboration with the Sultan Abdul Samad Library (PSAS), to provide an interactive financial learning platform for students.
The program’s launch ceremony was graced by international finance expert Robert Kiyosaki, the renowned author of Rich Dad Poor Dad. His presence, alongside Dr. Abuayubul Ansari Ibramsha, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Now Asia, drew the attention of students, university staff, and the wider community.
During the sharing session, Robert Kiyosaki explained the importance of basic financial knowledge as preparation for future economic challenges. He also highlighted that financial education plays a crucial role in shaping a generation that is knowledgeable and capable of making wise financial decisions.
In addition, participants had the opportunity to participate in the Cashflow Game, facilitated by Dr. Abuayubul Ansari Ibramsha. This financial simulation activity provided students with exposure to concepts such as cash flow, investment, and financial management through an interactive learning approach.
The organization of this program reflects Universiti Putra Malaysia’s commitment to producing graduates who are competitive and well-prepared to face global economic challenges.
