SEPANG, 29 July 2026 – The Sultan Abdul Samad Library (PSAS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), participated in the Centralised Malaysia Research Assessment (MyRA®) for the 2024 and 2025 Assessment Years, held from 28 to 29 July 2026 at Movenpick Hotel, KLIA.

PSAS contributed to the Centralised (On-site) MyRA® Assessment through the preparation, review, and verification of data for Subsection H2 under Section H (Support Facilities), covering library collection data for the 2024 and 2025 Assessment Years. Three PSAS librarians, Mr. Mohd Dasuki Sahak, Ms. Hazlindah Basiron, and Ms. Nursyafinaz Mohd Noh, represented PSAS during the assessment session. 

MyRA® is an assessment instrument used to measure research excellence in Malaysian higher education institutions based on an analytical framework encompassing input, process, output, outcome, and the impact of research, development, commercialisation, and innovation (RDC&I).

The Library's participation reflects its strategic role as a research partner to the University through effective research data management, the provision of information resources, and the delivery of library services that drive UPM's research excellence.
