Serdang, 20 June – The Secretariat of the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Book Club organized a registration booth to attract the campus community to join the club. The program, held at the Foyer and Termasa Room of the Sultan Abdul Samad Library, took place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The registration booth received encouraging response from UPM students and staff who were interested in participating in various activities related to reading culture and knowledge sharing. One of the main objectives of the program was to foster a love for reading among the campus community and to introduce the UPM Book Club to the public.
According to a representative of the organizers, the program not only aimed to increase club membership but also served as a platform to promote intellectual interaction among members through book discussions, writing workshops, and literacy-related activities.
The UPM Book Club plans to organize more activities throughout the year to strengthen the reading culture on campus and encourage the UPM community to support the university’s aspiration of becoming a center of academic excellence.
