GOMBAK, 29 June 2026 – Perpustakaan Sultan Abdul Samad, Universiti Putra Malaysia (PSAS, UPM) was invited by Dar al-Hikmah Library, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) to deliver a knowledge-sharing session on the “Library Relevance Index (LRI)”.
The sharing session was delivered by Puan Nur Azleen Hasan, Head of Agricultural Knowledge Hub Section; Encik Mohd Dasuki Sahak, Head of Organisational Development and Staff Competency Section; and Ts. Mohd Afiq Rusly, Senior Librarian, Digital and ICT Services Section.
The knowledge-sharing session was conducted in a hybrid format and attended by the Chief Librarian of IIUM, Ms Nor Hasyimah Mustapa, members of the Library Management team and librarians, including librarians from IIUM branch campuses.
At the end of the session, participants provided positive feedback, recognising LRI as a valuable approach in strengthening impact measurement and enhancing the strategic role of libraries. Following the encouraging response, both institutions plan to continue the collaboration through future workshops related to LRI.
