Serdang, 12 September 2025 – Sultan Abdul Samad Library (PSAS), Universiti Putra Malaysia, conducted a Benchmarking Visit on the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) to the Information and Communication Development Centre (iDEC) as part of efforts to strengthen the culture of excellence in workplace environment management at PSAS.

This visit provided PSAS staff the opportunity to gain knowledge, understand practical approaches, and emulate best practices that have been successfully cultivated by iDEC in implementing EKSA comprehensively and effectively.

The PSAS delegation was warmly welcomed by iDEC, which also shared its expertise, experience, and proven strategies for EKSA implementation that enhance efficiency, productivity, and service effectiveness.

Throughout the visit, PSAS staff were given detailed briefings, transparent sharing sessions, and the chance to witness firsthand the initiatives implemented by iDEC in cultivating a systematic, efficient, and sustainable work environment.

According to the Chairman of the PSAS EKSA Implementation Committee, the visit was highly significant as, apart from strengthening EKSA implementation at the library, it also provided new inspiration by opening horizons of ideas and innovative strategies to improve workplace environment management quality.

With the close cooperation established between iDEC and PSAS, it is hoped that this strategic relationship will continue to be strengthened in the future, thereby contributing to the achievement of a culture of service excellence at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
