Organizational Chart

Section Functions:

1. Agricultural Information Resource Management
   Manage, coordinate, and develop agricultural information resources to support the University’s research, teaching, and reference needs.
2. Agricultural Content and Digital Platform Management
   Manage content and enhance the visibility of agricultural information through digital platforms at both national and international levels.
3. Agricultural Data and Metadata Management
   Develop, maintain, and manage agricultural data and metadata to support reporting, impact assessment, and the University’s strategic planning.
4. Repository and Agricultural Collection Management
   Develop and maintain repositories and agricultural collections, including Malaysian agricultural collections and rare agricultural materials, to ensure access and long-term preservation of information.
5. User Education and Information Literacy
   Organise user education initiatives, including exhibitions, workshops, and experiential learning–based classes, to enhance users’ competencies in effectively utilising agricultural information resources for academic and research purposes.
6. Promotion and Strategic Collaboration
   Implement service promotion initiatives and manage collaborations with agencies and strategic partners in the field of agriculture.
