Serdang, 29 May - UPM-USM relations were strengthened through a visit session to benchmark best practices and new services at the Sultan Abdul Samad Library, UPM.
The visitors were welcomed by Head of Corporate and Staff Training PSAS, Mrs. Nur Azleen Hasan and the representatives of PSAS management. An active sharing session related to new services offered at PSAS and also exchanging views to enhanced academic library services for the campus community. The Chief Librarian of UPM, Mr. Mahbob Yusof was also present and welcomed the presence of 20 library officers led by the Deputy Chief Librarian, USM Engineering Campus, Mrs. Radia Banu Binti Jan Mohamad. The group were then taken to visit the facilities and ambience at PSAS including the Anjung Ilmu, the Agricultural Information Gallery, Book Pickup and Book Delivery Facilities as well as the Digital Reading Area.
This visit has provided room for the participants and PSAS Librarians to expand ideas ensuring that PSAS services remain relevant and meet the teaching and research needs of the UPM community.
