Serdang, Februari 26, 2020 - “WAZAN Customer Service Counter” has been opened at Foyer, Sultan Abdul Samad Library, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) on 26 and 27 February 2020. The counter was organized by Centre for Management of Waqf, Zakat and Endowment (WAZAN), UPM.
The activity has been continued from the “Kembara WAZAN” campaign in 2019. The purposes of the campaign were to increase consciousness among the community about the importance of zakat, waqf and endowment.
Among the services offered are income calculation and payment of zakat. WAZAN has also introduced the "Let's Pay Zakat Online" system of online zakat payments.
