Serdang, 6 August 2025 – The Sultan Abdul Samad Library (PSAS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), welcomed a delegation of 16 from Lion Education, Yunnan, China, comprising students and accompanying officers.
The visit aimed to provide the delegates with greater exposure to Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) as one of Malaysia’s leading institutions of higher learning. It also served to introduce them to the university’s diverse facilities and dynamic learning environment, particularly at the Sultan Abdul Samad Library (PSAS), which serves as a vital reference and research hub supporting UPM’s academic excellence.
During the visit, the delegation had the opportunity to explore the library’s facilities, attend a briefing session, and experience UPM’s vibrant learning environment and campus life. The visit also underscored the role of the Sultan Abdul Samad Library (PSAS) as the heart of UPM’s research support and academic excellence.
It is hoped that this visit will pave the way for greater collaboration in the field of education between the two institutions, while further strengthening ties of friendship and fostering academic cooperation between Malaysia and China in the future.
