The News and Media Writing Workshop Improve Skill Level of Potential Writers

SERDANG, 14 Mac 2023: The News and Media Writing Workshop organized by the Sultan Abdul Samad Library was attended by 29 participants from various departments (PTJ) in Universiti Putra Malaysia.

"This workshop has opened my eyes in the use of techniques and formats in writing the news," said Dr. Suriya Kumari Ramiah from the Institute of Tropical Agriculture and Food Security (ITAFoS), who also one of the workshop’s participants.

The workshop was conducted by a professional publishing consultant, Mr. Zamri Mohamad who has successfully published 30 books with more than 146,000 readers.

The workshop ended with certificates giving ceremony  to the participants and giving souvenirs to the speakers by Mr. Mahbob Yusof, Chief Librarian of the Sultan Abdul Samad Library.

In a nutshell, the participants were very satisfied with the News and Media Writing Workshop  organized by the Sultan Abdul Samad Library and keen to look forward the continuing series of workshops in the future.
