Serdang, 9 March - Sultan Abdul Samad Library (PSAS) has organized an online Motivation Program entitled Emotional Management & Mental Health in the Workplace. The program provides exposure to the public, especially employees about symptoms and impact of stress on self, family and work.
Professor. Dr. Normala Ibrahim from the Psychiatry unit, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences UPM cum Deputy Director of UPM Teaching Hospital (HPUPM) as the guest speaker shared various information related to challenges faced by employers and employees as well as recommendations for effective action in efforts to curb mental health issues. The two-hour program which was attended by 358 participants concluded with various questions from participants on methods to obtain an accurate diagnosis and solutions to situations of employees facing conflict in the workplace.
