Serdang, 13 August 2025 – The Library Webinar Series: AI-Assisted Data Processing, Analysis and Visualization organized by Sultan Abdul Samad Library, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), successfully attracted 133 registered participants. The webinar was held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a participation fee of RM50.00.
The session was conducted by Mr. Adam Feizrel Linoby bin Ronny Linoby, Senior Lecturer from the Faculty of Sports Science and Recreation, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Negeri Sembilan Campus. He shared knowledge and practical guidance on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in data processing, analysis, and visualization, which helps make the research process faster and more accurate.
Through hands-on training and free e-guides, participants learned systematic methods of cleaning and organizing data, automating analysis, and building impactful and easy-to-interpret data visualizations. The webinar also emphasized the responsible and ethical use of AI, particularly in the context of academic research.

This webinar is part of the Library Webinar Series organized by Sultan Abdul Samad Library, UPM, which aims to empower the academic community with digital and research skills in line with current technological developments.
The success of this session demonstrates the strong interest among academics in continuous learning on the use of AI to enhance the quality and effectiveness of their research.
