Library Information Literacy Programme For New Postgraduate Students 2022/2023

Serdang, 19 Oct - In conjunction with the enrollment of new postgraduate students, we are pleased to inform that Perpustakaan Sultan Abdul Samad (PSAS) will conduct an Information Literacy Programme to all new postgraduate students. Details of the classes are as follows:

Date: 7th -18th November 2022 (Monday - Friday)
Time: As scheduled in the time table
Platform: Online Classes

Module:  

  1. Library Introduction
  2. Information Search Strategy
  3. Mendeley for beginner
  4. Turnitin for student
  5. Citation Index Journal

                    

The objective of the class: 

1.Expose users to library services and facilities.
2.Educate users to understand how to obtain information efficiently & effectively.
3.Allows users to identify, acquire and evaluate information from multiple sources.
4.Learn how to access the online material more effectively.
5.Learn how to use a Reference Manager.
