Serdang, January 30 - The Sultan Abdul Samad Library (PSAS) in an effort to encourage the transfer of knowledge has organized a Knowledge Sharing Session Series 1/2023: Presentation of Industrial Training Students at PSAS attended by 94 participants from library staff and PSAS industrial training students.

Ms. Amirah Zakiah Rosihidin, an industrial training student of the Bachelor of Information Management Faculty of UiTM has carried out industrial training starting from September 1, 2022 to January 31, 2023. She has been placed in the sections in PSAS and the preparation of academic reports. Through this session she presented the results of a study entitled Library Services & Facilities for People with Disabilities in Malaysian Research University Libraries. This online session has revealed various inclusive approaches that can be taken as a result of studies that have been conducted involving Research Universities in Malaysia. The awareness and involvement of universities, especially in providing information services to users with disabilities can be further improved.

PSAS management wishes to express appreciation and gratitude for her commitment and contribution throughout the industrial training period. Hopefully through this kind of program will be able to strengthen the cooperation between UPM and UiTM.
