Serdang, 3rd March - Perpustakaan Sultan Abdul Samad (PSAS) has organized a Conducive Public Sector Ecosystem Sharing Session (EKSA) from Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR), UiTM with the aim of benchmarking the best practices of EKSA implementation in libraries.
The session began with a welcoming speech from Mr. Muzaffar Shah Kassim, Chief Librarian, UPM. In his speech, he hoped that the practice of EKSA could be applied consistently by PSAS staff in providing the best service to the university community. The session continued with a sharing from Puan Siti Rohayu Mohamad Yusof, Chairman of EKSA PTAR, UiTM. She shared various aspects of experience and best practices in the implementation of EKSA at PTAR, UiTM which can be used as a guide to PSAS staff. Among her explanations were related to the corporate image and innovations that have been implemented at PTAR. This 2 hour session provided an overview of the conducive library environment that can be achieved through the practice of EKSA.
Question and answer sessions from 113 participants present were able to provide bilateral input that benefited both parties. Puan Siti Rohayu is confident that with the involvement of all PSAS staff will be able to apply and excel in EKSA practices as well as increasing the satisfaction of library users.
