Serdang, 22 January 2026 – In conjunction with the organization of the UPM Reading Festival 2026, the Sultan Abdul Samad Library Club actively participated by opening a sales booth known as Abang Sado Fruit Rojak Stall as part of the club’s fundraising efforts.

The stall operated for three days from 20 to 22 January 2026 (Tuesday to Thursday), from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Throughout this period, the stall received an encouraging response from members of the Universiti Putra Malaysia community as well as festival visitors.

According to a club representative, involvement in this sales activity was not only aimed at generating additional income, but also provided an opportunity for club members to be directly involved in entrepreneurship and teamwork activities. This initiative is also seen as a platform to increase the visibility of the Sultan Abdul Samad Library Club within the campus community.

The profits from the sales will be channeled into the club’s fund to support the costs of organizing future programs. The club hopes that participation in such activities can be continued and strengthened as an ongoing initiative in supporting the development and sustainability of club activities.
