Serdang, 14 July - The Sultan Abdul Samad Library (PSAS) has conducted a benchmarking visit to the UPM Alumni Relations Center (PPA) to share ideas and best practices in cultivating Ekosistem Kondusif Sektor Awam (EKSA) in UPM.

The visiting delegation consisting of 16 PSAS officers was welcomed by the Director of the Alumni Relations Center, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arba'ie Sujud, Deputy Director Encik Mohd Fahmi Azar Mistar and all PPA members. In the Director's welcoming speech, he welcomed the visits and hoped that the implementation of EKSA could be appreciated in daily work with sincere intentions. A briefing was delivered by the PPA EKSA Coordinator, Mr. Sahrizan Mat Yatim explaining the journey and efforts of PPA towards cultivating EKSA in its community.

Participants were taken around the PPA covering two zones namely the Zon Mekar and Zon Besa with a more detailed description from the Zone Leaders. The visit covered the entire space in the PPA including the file room, pantry and work space. The EKSA’s Information Board of each zone displays clear and up-to-date information that shows UPM's corporate image. Recycle materials were also utilized to create creativity and innovations in the departments.

The visit session ended at 1.00 pm with discussions and exchange of views from both sides. Hopefully, through this visit session, it can strengthen the strategic cooperation between PSAS and PPA.
