Library Facilities

1. WIRELESS INTERNET
	The entire Library building is WiFi enabled. With this facilities, user are able to connect to the network (UPM PutraHotspot) using their own devices anywhere within library premise.
2. CARRELS
	41 carrel rooms are available for academic staff and post-graduate student only. Requests can be made at the Circulation Counter, Level 1, A Block.
3. SELF-CHECK MACHINE
	The 'Self-Check Machine' is to facilitate borrowing and renewal by users themselves without having to queue at the Circulation Counter.
4. DISCUSSION ROOMS
	10 rooms which can accommodate between 4-10 users are available for discussions and study groups. Requests can be made at the Circulation Counter, Level 1, Block A.
5. BOOK DROP
	The 'Book Drop' situated near the library entrance can be used to return books when the library is closed. A receipt will be issued as proof thatthe book has been returned.
6. AUDITORIUM LUKUT 1 AND LUKUT 2
	2 auditoriums (Auditorium Lukut 1 and Lukut 2) located at the Ground Level, A Block have a seating capacity for 60-75 people. Reservations should be made by a lecturer or his representative at the Counter, Mediaand Archive Division, Ground Level, A Block.
7. AUDIO VISUAL ROOMS
	TheLibrary has 9 Audio Visual rooms for viewing video, CD-ROM, diskettes, slides, film strips and cassette listening. Each room can accommodate 4 users at one time. Requests to use the facility can be made at the Counter, Media and Archive Division situated at the Ground Level, A Block.
8. MUSIC ROOM
	2 music rooms with a seating capacity for 20 users is located on the Ground Floor, A Block. Request and reservation can be made at the Media and Archive Division Counter, Ground Level, A Block.
9. TV CORNER
	TV viewing corner is available at the Media and Archive Division, Ground Level, A Block and also at Serials Division, Level 1, B Block.
10. PRAYER ROOM
	A Muslim prayer room is located at Level 2, A Block.
12. TRAINING ROOM (BILIK MALAWATI)
	A Training Room equipped with computers for workshops, courses, lectures and other activities organized by the Library is located at the Ground Level, A Block.
13. ELECTRONIC REFERENCE ROOM
	The Electronic Reference Room provides internet computers for users to access electronic databases and online journals at Level 1, A Block.
13. JOMPRINT@LIB
JomPrint@Lib is an initiative of the Perpustakaan Sultan Abdul Samad (PSAS) in an effort to upgrade photocopying, scanning, printing and facsimile services to UPM residents.

17. GRADUATE WINGS
	A Graduate Wings equipped with WiFi and reading area is available for all postgraduate students at Ground Level, B Block.
